WEEKLY ADULT CLASSES
All Adult Classes are 6 weeks in duration unless otherwise indicated.
Adult training classes, offered for actors 18 and up, is divided into two tracks:
Core Track classes are our basic classes, introducing students to acting, on-camera acting, scene study, improvisation, and other approaches. Anyone at any experience level is welcome to take these classes, and can take them as many times as they wish. These classes are great for beginners, and for intermediate and advanced actors looking to brush up their skills. They are even great for theater actors looking to add on-camera training in their artistic arsenal.
These classes are only for advanced-level actors. Actors must either pass an audition or be approved from a questionnaire to be accepted into the Pro Track. Factory instructors also are empowered to invite anyone to these classes, based on their work in Core Track classes. Once accepted into the Pro Track, these students are permitted to take anything offered at the studio.

Acting for the Camera
Master on-camera acting techniques weekly through scene work, monologues, and personalized exercises. Get in front of the camera for valuable critique and learn the mechanics of on-camera acting and the basics of the biz.

Audition for Film and Television
Perform a mock audition in class each week, get professional feedback, and learn the dos and don'ts of the audition room. Also, get in-depth advice about kickstarting your career in lessons covering headshots, casting platforms, talent agents, SAG-AFTRA and marketing tools.

Actor's Toolkit
Three acting techniques in a 15-week class: Meisner Technique, Chekhov Technique and Alba Emoting. These three techniques give actors powerful tools to help connect to emotional scenes, difficult characters, or challenging scene partners. Be introduced to three of the leading approaches to acting by a nationally certified instructor. Great for intermediate to advanced actors.

Self-Tape Tune-Up
*ONLINE COURSE*
Are your self-tapes getting seen? In this online class, students send in self-tapes weekly and get live critiques, ranging from the basics of lighting and sound to the specifics that capture the eye of casting professionals. Improve your home studio, refine your acting technique, and receive feedback from casting professionals from around the country.

Virtual Callbacks

Virtual auditions and callbacks are now the norm and not the exception, leaving actors confused about how to maintain a character and connect to a scene partner that is hundreds of miles away. LA Casting Associate Tiffany Feese will break down what makes virtual auditions succeed: where to look, how to deal with it, and what to do in that nerve-wracking virtual waiting room.

Advanced Auditioning
Chris Freihofer
A continued study class for those who have completed Audition for Film & Television, sharpen your auditioning skills with Chris Freihofer, owner of The Actor Factory. With a group of working actors, be pushed to explore character honesty, stronger choices, and compelling moments through weekly mock auditions. Prerequisite required.
