WELCOME TO THE FACTORY
The Factory began in 2008 with a simple mission: to provide quality training from industry professionals that shapes actors for the camera.

Our Story
Established in 2008 by Chris Freihofer, The Actor Factory stands as a leading training center, dedicated to nurturing actors for the camera. We aim to provide quality training from industry professionals, equipping actors of all levels with the skills and techniques needed to excel in the world of film and television.
With a curriculum designed to focus on auditioning, on-camera acting technique, our unique studio offers a comprehensive approach to actor development. Our flexible, a la carte program allows students to tailor their training experience to their individual interests and goals, making The Actor Factory the ideal destination for aspiring actors seeking to refine their craft and pursue their passion for acting.
THE FACTORY DIFFERENCE
At The Actor Factory, we believe the successful on-camera actor is four-part, training and possessing skills not only in acting, but in auditioning, on-camera technique and improvisation.
Every instructor at The Actor Factory is an industry professional, actively involved in acting, casting, and/or providing their voices for film, television, commercials, and radio, bringing real-world expertise to our students.
All of our instructors are encouraged to share their expertise, their experiences, their tricks of the trade in a mentorship capacity, fostering a culture of learning and growth within our community.
Our classes sizes are small, and our hands-on and personalized instruction ensures that actors are meticulously crafted for success. We’ve all had experiences sitting through weekly classes with 20+ people where there is no time for individual attention. That doesn’t happen at The Factory.
There is a start date but no end date for acting. The acting muscle, like any muscle, needs to be flexed, toned, and crafted so the muscle grows, which is why many classes at The Factory are ongoing. We encourage actors to learn at their own pace, focusing on the areas of study they feel needs the most attention.
Calling it 'The Factory' might evoke images of an assembly line, but that is where the idea comes from. The Factory borrows an invention from Henry Ford, who developed the assembly line for quality construction. Starting from raw materials, a product was skillfully built by hand with expert craftsmen paying individual attention to a specific area. As the product moved from station to station it became more fortified. At The Actor Factory, actors move from class to class, building different portions of their acting skillset. Here, actors are built with quality, class by class.
At The Actor Factory, our mission is to build, refine, and support actors of all ages working to appear on-camera. Explore our classes, camps, intensives, and other services, and you'll understand why The Factory stands as a unique and unparalleled resource in Oklahoma.
