WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

This is more than just a mock audition class: it is an industry overview, the only truly business class offered at the studio.  While other classes are focused on improving various techniques and approaches, this class not only defines and refines the actor's audition skills, but also serves as an industry overview, helping actors kick their acting careers into the next gear.

Students will be emailed audition material to prepare during the week prior to class.  These scenes are taken from highly-rated network television series studio features.  The audition material will be accompanied by an assignment involving an area of focus for the audition.  Participants will be videotaped and evaluated during class time, with constructive criticism to improve the actor’s technique.  Each participant will be provided a video link of their class work each week, including his or her on-camera instruction and critique. The class is designed for both beginning and advanced actors to receive critique in their audition technique for film and television.
