Kids develop audition skills for film, television and commercials with the Casting Assistant at Oklahoma's leading Casting Office, the only CSA-member office in Oklahoma. 

 

Using scripts from TV series, feature films and commercials, Feese will give an assignment each week for preparation, and will treat every class like a mock audition.  Each child will be filmed and coached in ways to improve their technique while developing confidence and comfort with the camera.

 

Bethany Bourland is casting assistant at Freihofer Casting, where she has assisted in the casting of the feature films WILDLIFE, OVEREXPOSED, CHILDREN OF THE CORN: RUNAWAY, HELLRAISER: JUDGMENT, FRACKERS, WICKED LOVE and THE MUSTANGER AND THE LADY, as well has dozens of commercials for Nike, Oklahoma Tourism, Skit Guys, K20 Center, Shape Your Future and many more.  She has a BFA in acting, graduating with a 4.0 from the University of Oklahoma.  She has taught acting to young performers at the Sooner Theater, the Dallas Theater Center and the Katy (TX) Visual and Performing Arts Center. She produces the Helmerich Literature Alive program, bringing children’s theater into area schools.

 

Children are encouraged to remain in this class throughout the year. Just as an athlete requires time in the gym, so does an actor require constant toning of their "acting muscles".
