6-week class
8 Student Limit, Ages 18+
$495

*Sterlin has several projects in the works with HBO, TNT and others, and is on deadline to get writing assignments turned in. As soon as he has some open availability, he will get back in the Zoom classroom.

Go from concept to script in this 6-week class class from award-winning filmmaker Sterlin Harjo, a writer with exciting projects being purchased from major studios on a very regular basis.

Only 8 students are permitted in this class, allowing Harjo to give personal attention to each budding writer. The instructor will help each student develop a logline and pitch, and then work with them to bring the concept to the page in script form. Each week will incorporate different assignments and discussions, and writing samples will be evaluated and critiqued along the way.

Sterlin Harjo is a multiple award-winning filmmaker and a 2020 inductee into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. His  first three films, GOOD NIGHT IRENE, FOUR SHEETS TO THE WIND and BARKING WATER, all premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.  He has recently sold television and feature scripts to Amazon, HBO and several other outlets.  With Oscar-winner Taika Waititi, Harjo has co-created the television series RESERVATION DOGS, with a pilot set to go into production for the FX Network as soon as the COVID-19 crisis subsides.

Learn not only the craft of screenwriting, but also the business of it, from a writer with major projects in development all over Los Angeles. He brings a wealth of experience present-day industry knowledge to the virtual classroom.

Harjo will be available to read and provide notes for the full-length scripts created in this class for up to twelve months following completion of the class.
