Learn Improv and do a show!

This class for improv beginners or intermediate improvisers is completely focused on performing short-form improv comedy in front of an audience. The class is team-taught by Zach Delaune and Josh Gorton and they will gently take students on an 8-week journey on Monday nights.  Students will learn the rules of improvisation and the skills of thinking on their feet while trusting their instincts, guiding them in short-form improv scenarios designed for the stage.

On the 9th week, friends and family will be invited to The Factory Showroom to watch their loved ones perform an improv show, putting what they've learned to the test. Does this idea scare you?  It shouldn't. But if it does, all the more reason to take it!

This class encourages team-building, builds confidence and gently pulls people out of their shell.

Zach Delaune has been a longtime improv performer. He is the current advisor to OU Improv, where he also served as director of the company. He currently performs with Take One Improv.  Josh Gorton is the current director of Obviously Unrehearsed Improv. He has studied comedy and improv at many companies, including the legendary Second City workshop training.

This class meets on Monday nights beginning October 9.  Cost is $250.  Jump in and have fun!
