SUMMER CLASS

Keep your in-person and short-notice audition skills sharp and ready with this new summer class at The Actor Factory.

​

Do you have a tight turnaround on a self tape?  What if you are in-person in a callback and they ask you to read for another role, with only 10 minutes or so of prep time.

​

Actor, Producer and Award-winning filmmaker Clarissa Cozzoni will help you sharpen hone your skills while offering coaching feedback and suggestions to trust your instincts, make bold, clear and quick decisions on character and scene study, put the focus on your scene partner instead of your reader, and will give you tips on quick memorization skills.

​

Each class will be a new assignment in cold reading.  No homework, nothing to prepare for class. Actors will arrive and then be given a short amount of time to best prepare a two to three-minute scene from film or television.

Cozzoni has been a class assistant in several Factory classes for the past few years, including Audition for Film & Television with Chris Freihofer.  She holds her BFA in Acting from the University of Oklahoma and is currently a producer at Prairie Surf Media. She is a multiple award-winning director with her short films screening in festivals nationwide, while also being an actor in commercials, films and more.  She recently starred in the film Whatever it Takes, renamed Minding Your Business, due for release soon.

The class is open to beginning or advanced actors aged 18 and up.
