This past year, he booked roles in the feature films FELT (opposite Liam Neeson) and WILDLIFE (opposite Jake Gyllenhaal) among others. Some of his vast TV credits include DALLAS (both versions), IN PLAIN SIGHT, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, PRISON BREAK, NYPD BLUE and the Felicity Huffman series AMERICAN CRIME. Other feature film credits include PARKLAND, Terrence Malick’s TO THE WONDER, AMERICAN OUTLAWS, Clint Eastwood’s ARLINGTON ROAD, the classic film BOTTLE ROCKET and the original ROBO-COP.

The class will cover all aspects of on-camera acting in six specific lessons. The many exercises will include hitting marks, continuity, eyeline, adjusting performance for the shot, and many more. The procedures of acting in a major film will also be covered, from the time the actor is cast, following the actor through wrap. Call sheets, contracts, pre-call expectations, the hierarchy of the set, how to read one-liner and Day out of Days schedules and more will be covered.
But most importantly, participants will be filmed in several on-set scenarios in a very active and upbeat classroom setting. Playback will be evaluated each week in class, followed by constructive critique from Cox; well-regarded as one of the most experienced on-camera actors in the region, and one of the most accomplished instructors of this craft.
The class is open to beginning or advanced actors aged 16 and up.
